As everyone knows these things are absolutely horrible to install but finished product is worth it. The light engine I feel is. A little cheesy. And the app to connect the unit to your phone could not possibly be any worse. Besides that everything works as it should.
The overall install is very tedious but the results absolute speak for themselves. It looks great in my truck! Currently using it on the 120v plug in my truck so I can’t speak on it working with a 12v cigarette lighter plug in.
Really nice products only reason for 4 stars is that it took 2 weeks to come
Good quality, shipping was quick even for being during the holidays. Light engine is rated at 24v not 12, and it does not work with 12v. But with the supplied 120v wall adapter it’s just hooked up to the 120v outlet in the rear seat on my 2017 f350. Works great had it in for over a week, super bright.
