We source a lot of feedback from our customers and ambassadors. About 10 years ago a KC ambassador and close friend of the company, Gerald "Smitty" King of Finish Line Racing, asked us to develop a multi-functional off-road accessory LED light. Gerald does wiring for many race vehicles in the Phoenix area, he’s a fabricator and an off-road racer. "We need a light that looks like a donut and can be mounted to vehicles using a DZUS fastener", he requested. DZUS fasteners are used to hold body panels onto race vehicles. He explained that there was a need to have lights around the vehicles that mount quickly and easily with a DZUS fastener to make life easier to mount lights for visibility. Armed with that knowledge, KC went to work and designed the KC Cyclone while continuously sourcing feedback from Gerald throughout the initial design process. Today, the cyclone has grown to be a staple for all types of vehicles to be seen and to see with.
The 5W Cyclone V2 LED light is multi-functional, compact & low profile, sturdy & rugged and delivers an incredibly bright 600 lumens of LED output.
Originally designed for Off-Road racers as an interior dome light, the Cyclone LED light has morphed into an all-purpose LED light for rock crawling, engine bays, wheel wells, truck beds, grills, bumpers, roof racks and continues to have infinite applications.
Cyclone V2 now has an easy snap-on and snap-off cover allowing you to customize the color of your cyclones anytime your needs change. Broke a lens? No problem quickly snap a new one on in a minute. Choose from Clear, Diffused, Amber, Red, Green and Blue snap-on lenses.
Cyclone V2 features increased light output, adventure proof construction and sealing, and replaceable & changeable polycarbonate snap on/off lenses.
The KC Cyclone can be mounted anywhere there is a hole. The Cyclone has a middle hole on the housing so mounting is as easy as securing it with a standard bolt and nut. Get a custom look by using our surface mount or flush mount plates!
