BUILD OVERVIEW

Some trucks draw attention with sound and color. Landon Burdick’s Project Midnight commanded it with presence. At Orange Beach Invasion 2025, we found his jet-black 2017 F-250 Lariat staged on a beautiful brick paver drive, the truck looked less parked and more displayed.

Every element of the build pushed the silhouette taller, sharper, and more deliberate. A 10–12 inch FTS lift raised the body high above the street, planted on 26x14 Specialty Forged wheels wrapped in massive 40x15.5r26 Fury Country Hunter MT1's. Truespike lugs and Bodyguard bumpers added detail and heft, while a full Morimoto conversion — from headlights to third brake — brought a precision edge to the midnight paint.

Sixty XKGlow Pure White rock lights scattered across the undercarriage, paired with magnetic traction bar strips, set the whole truck aglow. Two full sets of Customs Unlimited 10-row wheel lights lit the brick surface like a stage floor. Every angle carried the same message: this truck wasn’t just built to move, it was built to be seen.

Inside, black leather and crocodile accents framed a cabin wired for sound — Alpine systems in custom enclosures pushing as much air as the turbo under the hood. This was less a show build than a rolling command post. Among the noise and spectacle of the invasion, Landon’s F-250 wasn’t competing for attention. It already had it.

LOCATION

At Orange Beach Invasion 2025 (March 14–16), Landon Burdick’s “Project Midnight” 2017 F-250 Lariat stood tall on the brick paver drive beneath a glass-walled hotel. The truck’s towering lift, polished details, and bright white lighting created sharp contrasts against the sleek urban backdrop, making it impossible to overlook. Surrounded by reflections of steel and glass, Landon’s build felt both modern and imposing — a statement piece in a show filled with heavy hitters.
