Customs Unlimited Warranty Policy

All Customs Unlimited branded products carry a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.

Having a problem with a product you purchased from us or from one of our authorized dealers? Please email us at support@customsunlimited.co with a detailed description of the issue, including pictures and your order number. You can also start a warranty claim by submitting our Warranty Request Form.

This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship in all Customs Unlimited branded products. The limited lifetime warranty applies for the duration of the original purchaser’s ownership of the product, beginning on the date of purchase.

What’s Covered (Customs Unlimited Branded Products)

At the sole discretion of Customs Unlimited, we will evaluate and accept or deny any warranty claim. We may require additional documentation or support to complete the evaluation, which may include returning the item to us at the customer’s expense. If a claim is approved, we may:

  • Repair or replace the defective or malfunctioning product at no charge,
  • Issue a store credit toward other products.


In the event that a product has been discontinued, and an exact replacement is not available, Customs Unlimited will offer a store credit equal to the original purchase price of the discontinued product. This store credit may be used toward a replacement or other product of the customer’s choice.

All warranty claims require proof of purchase.

If warranty support is needed more than 30 days after purchase, return shipping costs to Customs Unlimited will be the responsibility of the customer.

Third-Party Products (Other Brands)

In addition to our own products, Customs Unlimited is a retailer for several other lighting brands. Please note: Our limited lifetime warranty only applies to products branded and manufactured by Customs Unlimited.

Products from other manufacturers are covered solely by that manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty terms—including coverage period, process, and resolution—are determined by the manufacturer of the product.

Customs Unlimited cannot override, extend, or supplement the warranty terms set by the original manufacturer.

If you need assistance contacting a manufacturer for warranty service on a third-party product, we are happy to help connect you—but all warranty claims must follow the policies set forth by the product’s brand.

What’s Not Covered / Warranty Exclusions

The following conditions void or are excluded from warranty coverage:

  • Installation of parts in any non-stock application (e.g., off-road racing, commercial use, vehicle conversions, fleet applications, etc.)
  • Dismantling, modifying, or altering any part or component of the product
  • Improper installation, failure to follow installation instructions, or manufacturer service bulletins
  • Damage from abuse, misuse, or acts of God
  • Transfer or resale of the product (warranty applies only to the original purchaser)
  • Inability to provide proof of purchase
  • Failure or refusal to provide requested information or documentation for a claim
  • Merchandise returned in damaged condition or materially different than originally sold
  • Repeated or excessive warranty claims for the same product that raise concerns of potential fraud

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
