DESCRIPTION
The Baja Designs Squadron-R Sport Headlight Kit is a premium factory-location lighting upgrade for the 2016–2025 Yamaha YXZ1000R. Designed to replace the stock headlight system with stronger off-road LED performance, this kit improves visibility for nighttime trail riding, dunes, wooded terrain, and open off-road conditions.
This kit replaces the factory lights with four round Squadron-R Sport LED lights. The layout uses Driving / Combo lights on the inside and Spot lights on the outside, creating a balanced lighting setup with wider usable coverage and added forward reach.
Installation is designed to be plug-and-play using the supplied vehicle-specific brackets and wiring adapters. The kit connects to the factory headlight plugs and retains the Yamaha YXZ’s original high / low beam operation, giving you upgraded lighting performance without losing factory-style control.

Important Fitment Note:
Baja Designs notes that due to minimal stator voltage output at idle, a slight light flicker may occur while the vehicle is idling. Once engine RPM increases above idle, the lights should no longer be affected.
